White Christmas
Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical worthy of year-round productions.

Mallory Cunningham
(Rita)
Mallory as a Raleigh native and lover of the arts, is tickled to be making her Poeima debut as “Rita” in White Christmas! She has years of voice training and dance under her belt, as well as performing on the stage in a few musicals during her school years. Some of her accomplishments include being in the Ensemble for Bye Bye Birdie, a “Pink Lady” in Grease, and “Mrs. Schwart” in Fame. She currently acts as an Administrative Clerk for the NC House of Representatives. When she is not working or rehearsing, Mallory enjoys spending time with friends and family, namely being an aunt to eight of the most adorable, amazing nieces and nephews in the world!
Michael Dial
(General Waverly)
Michael is performing in his fifth production with PoiemArtistry. His PA stage credits include: The Great Day (Vocal Soloist), Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Faithful), Seussical the Musical (General Gengus Khan Schmitz/Wickersham Brother), Titanic (J. Bruce Ismay), and Singin’ in the Rain (RF Simpson). Michael recently graduated from Liberty University Online with a degree in Sports Management. He would like to thank his family for supporting him in everything he does, and his amazing voice teacher, Mrs. Lori Tomalonis, for stretching him vocally and believing in him.
Katy Eldred
(Ensemble)
Katy is performing in her second production with PoiemArtistry, first appearing in The Robe as “Salome”. After some extensive travels that included being an au pair for a French family in Ireland, living on a sailboat near the Chesapeake Bay, and wrangling cattle on horseback under the hot midwestern sun, she returned home to practice theater. At HRT in Dunn, NC, she played “Lorraine Sheldon” in The Man Who Came to Dinner. While she spends her days as a scheduling manager for Family Medical Supply, she spends her evenings with Poiema and any free time working on her middle-grade novel. She is so grateful to be a part of such a talented cast and crew who teach the craft of theater. Enjoy the show!
Brighton Evans
(Susan Waverly/Ensemble)
Brighton is excited to perform in her third PoiemArtistry production! She has been cast in various musical productions including The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox), The Music Man (Ensemble), Peter Pan, and The Sound of Music (Louisa). Brighton is currently a junior at North Raleigh Christian Academy. Brighton was seen earlier this year in Titanic as “Madeleine Astor” and Singin’ in the Rain as “Mary Margaret” and “Ensemble”. She is so very grateful for everyone in her life who has helped her in all her shows! Brighton sends a special thanks to her family, friends, her voice teacher, Mrs. Fabio, and the Green’s for this amazing opportunity.
