White Christmas 2025
Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.

Meet the Cast

Noah Alexander (Ensemble)
Noah is thrilled to be back on stage for White Christmas. This is his fourth Poiema show and has been in several others: Fiddler on the Roof, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Newsies. Noah is excited to be in this show with such a wonderful cast.

Zakurah Baker (Ensemble)
Zakurah has had a deep love for dance and performing from a young age. She began her journey in church dramas as a ballet dancer and angel, and at just five years old, she joined a dance company. Zakurah later progressed to the Company Dance Team, earning multiple Platinum and Diamond awards, including two 1st place finishes and a 1st Overall at Nationals. She also had the honor of performing a duet with a college student at Meredith College. Whether performing solo, in a group, or with her church team, Zakurah has always felt that God blessed her with a gift she is passionate about sharing. Most recently, she has expanded her talents into the world of Competitive Cheer.

Zoe Baker (Ensemble)
Zoe discovered her love for performing at the age of three when she starred as “The Star” in Psalty’s Christmas Calamity. Since then, she has brought characters like “Tinker Bell”, the “White Rabbit”, and “Frieda” to life on stage. With seven years of dance training, she is thrilled to be tapping her way through White Christmas. Zoe also serves as a music leader on her youth praise team, where she is able to show her love for worship with others. She plans to pursue a career as a hair and makeup specialist, both in and beyond the theatre world.

Kalina Bland (Martha Watson)
Kalina is making her Poiema Arts debut! Kalina grew up in Baltimore City, MD where she attended Baltimore School for the Arts as a Theater major, then received her Bachelors in Music and Dance at the University of Iowa. Her favorite moments in fine arts are performing Hairspray in Baltimore as ensemble chorus and in London, England as a "Record Shop Kid" and "Motormouth Mabel"; but most of all, teaching fine arts to Pre-K through 6th grade, where her students have continued to dazzle her with their brilliance, creativity, humor, and uniqueness. After 10 years, Kalina is glad to return to theater as a performer and share the stage with a diverse and enthusiastic cast.

Felicity Brown (Ensemble)
Felicity is excited to be joining the Poiema Artistry family for the first time in the Broadway musical White Christmas. She has loved singing for as long as she can remember. Felicity enjoys using her ability to help lead music at her church as part of a youth band. She has been in some small productions at church and at an Odyssey of the Mind competition, and she is thrilled to now be debuting on the big stage.

Liana Brown (Ensemble)
Liana is making her Poiema Arts debut in White Christmas. She has always enjoyed performing arts, having taken dance classes at a young age. She loves swing dancing, and is currently taking vocal lessons. Liana also has a passion for studio arts and is considering a career as an art teacher. She is excited to join the Poiema family and hopes to do more shows in the future!

Serenity Brown (Ensemble)
Serenity is delighted to call White Christmas her first big theater experience. She is in tenth grade, looking forward to what the future holds for her in the arts. Serenity was formerly involved as a vocalist in the youth band at her church, helping lead others to worship. She would like to thank everyone who has inspired and encouraged her to stretch out of comfort zones and to give everything her all.

Caleb Burnett (Ensemble)
Caleb is excited to be returning to Poiema Arts after performing in Newsies. He has previously participated in various musical productions, including The Christmas Play and A DIY Christmas. With a passion for using his gifts to glorify God, Caleb is eager to continue developing his talent in theater and collaborate with other young artists. He thanks his parents, siblings, and the Poiema Arts team for giving him the opportunity to grow and learn under their exceptional leadership.

Leila Burnett (Ensemble)
Leila is excited to be making her debut with Poiema Arts this year. She has previously participated in various musical productions, including The Christmas Play, A DIY Christmas, and has been a dedicated member of the worship team at Bethel City Church for the past several years. Leila loves to incorporate her relationship with Jesus into everything that she does and feels that Poiema Arts is the perfect environment to grow in the arts and her faith. She thanks her parents and siblings for supporting her participation as well as the amazing team at Poiema who encourage her to grow.

Olive Coe (Ensemble)
Olive is performing her fifth show with PoiemArtistry. She has most recently been in Newsies (Newsie/Ensemble). She was also seen in It’s A Wonderful Life (Ensemble), Fiddler On The Roof (Ensemble) and White Christmas (Ensemble) in 2023. She has also been in Junie B. Jones (Gladys Gutzman, Ensemble), High School Musical 2 (Sharpette, Ensemble), Annie (Star-To-Be, Maid, New Yorker, Ensemble), The Little Mermaid (Carlotta, Unfortunate Soul, Sea Chorus), Radium Girls (Clerk, Dancer), Something Rotten (Instrumentalist), and Peter Pan (Stage Manager) at various theaters. Olive has 10 years of dance experience in several genres including, ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. She has danced with several companies including Poiema Studio. Olive loves the arts as she also plays the flute, piccolo, and oboe and supports her local theater companies by going to see shows that are put on. In her free time, she enjoys babysitting, writing stories, running, baking, and taking pictures of the world around her. Olive is very thankful for Poiema and The Green family as they have helped her grow in tremendous ways and she can’t wait to see how much she and the company will grow!

Molly Cummings (Betty Haynes)
Molly is making her Poiema debut! Molly is thrilled to join the cast of White Christmas after many years away from the stage. Some of her favorite roles include “Donna” (Mamma Mia, UNC Chapel Hill), “The Witch” (Into The Woods, UNC Chapel Hill), “Maria” (Sound of Music), and “Millie Dillmount” (Thoroughly Modern Millie). Enjoy the show!

Wayne Edmondson (Train Conductor/Ensemble)
Wayne is performing in his second PoiemArtistry production. He has been part of several plays through different theatre companies in the area as well as various short films. As a kid, Wayne always wanted to be part of theater and film. He has enjoyed being in White Christmas and is grateful to be a part of this exciting event.

Gideon Edwards (General Waverly)
Gideon is excited to return to the stage for White Christmas. He is privileged to have played the role of “Pulitzer” in Poiema’s production of Newsies as his first acting role. Gideon hopes to continue to be in many more shows in the future.

Susanna Faggion (Ensemble)
Susanna is so excited to be performing in her first show with Poiema in White Christmas! Previously, she has had the opportunity to perform at NRACT in Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief and to participate in the Dream Roles Cabaret with Theater Raleigh ACT! She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting and uplifting her through her theatrical journey!

Caroline Gossett (Ensemble)
Carolina is very excited to be performing in White Christmas as a member of the ensemble. After performing in White Christmas for the past two years, It’s A Wonderful Life, and Fiddler On The Roof, this is her fifth show with Poiema Arts. She has also enjoyed being a part of the Broadway and Contemporary dance classes with Studio Poiema. She is a 9th grade homeschooler who enjoys golf cart driving, singing, dancing, writing, drawing, reading, and caring for her two cats, dog, and 20 chickens.

Sean Gossett (Bob Wallace)
Sean is excited to return to the PoiemArtistry stage. After traveling with a music group in high school as a trumpet player and singer, Sean attended Appalachian State University, where he marched in the band and earned a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance. There, he also sang with the University Singers and Chamber Singers. He also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, where he earned a Master of Music with voice concentration. At SWBTS, he performed as a soloist for Southwestern Singers in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Fort Worth Symphony at Bass Performance Hall. He has studied voice with Martin McGlamery, Randall Outland and Stanley Warren. He also has extensive experience in music ministry, serving churches in North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee and Florida, directing adult choirs, orchestras, handbell choirs and other musical groups. Currently, Sean and his family attend Cross Assembly in Raleigh, where he serves in the worship ministry. He thanks his wife, Anna, and their five children for their enthusiastic support and encouragement in this performance!

Chelsae Green (Ensemble/Associate Director/Choreographer)
Chelsae is honored to be part of PoiemArtistry and Poiema Arts, Inc. She has a B.A. in Dance Studies from Meredith College. For seven years, she was the Dance Director and Choreographer at North Raleigh Christian Academy. Some of her favorite and most memorable shows to produce and choreograph have been Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Secret Garden, Mary Poppins, Titanic, Fiddler on the Roof, and Newsies. Chelsae and her family owned and operated a performing arts studio for 13 years before opening Poiema Arts in 2019. She has instructed hundreds of students in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, and musical theater. Chelsae is an ABT® Certified Instructor and has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive, Pre- Primary through Level 7, and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Recently, she performed in Poiema’s productions of Fiddler on the Roof (Tzietel) and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy). She currently serves as a member of the Poiema Arts Board of Directors and Assistant Director/Choreographer for PoiemArtistry. Chelsae would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their dedication and making the Poiema vision a reality! Acts 20:24

Lyndsae Green (Ensemble/Associate Choreographer)
Lyndsae serves as a founding member and the Associate Dance Director and Choreographer for PoiemArtistry. Lyndsae has been involved in dance and theater since she was 13. She has appeared in many stage productions including White Christmas, The Wiz, The Great Day, Seussical the Musical, The Nutcracker Ballet, Titanic, Fiddler on the Roof, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Newsies. As an accomplished dancer, Lyndsae performs and has instructed classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hiphop, and modern dance styles. She graduated from the Wake Technical Institute Culinary and Baking School in 2015 and works at local bakery, Edible Art. Lyndsae also owns her own baking and photography businesses which keep her very busy especially during wedding season. She is incredibly honored to work with Poiema and is eager to see how the Lord will use the company to impact His Kingdom!

ChiChi Hay (Ensemble/Assistant Stage Manager)
ChiChi has been a part of Poiema since 2020 and has loved every minute of it! She has been a part of the Poiema Artistry Productions Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins, Seussical the Musical, Titanic, Singin’ In The Rain, White Christmas (2022/2023), Secret Garden (ASM), Godspell, Fiddler on the Roof, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Newsies (ASM)! Chichi has also been a part of Studio Poiema and has taken tap, contemporary, hiphop, and acting classes. She is incredibly grateful for the Green family for all of their love, training, and encouragement. Chichi has really connected with them and the mission of healing and redemption that PoiemArtistry represents. She would like to thank her family for all of their unending love and support. And Chichi would especially like to thank her sister, who she is sharing the stage with, for all of her love, friendship, and cheerleading!

Rebekah Hay (Ensemble)
Rebekah is thrilled to be performing in her 12th production with PoiemArtistry! She previously appeared as “Ruth Bailey” in It’s a Wonderful Life and “Ayah” in The Secret Garden, as well as in numerous ensemble roles throughout her years with Poiema. A 20-year-old senior at North Carolina State University studying Biochemistry and Forensic Science, Rebekah is grateful for the opportunity to explore her creative side through theater. She would like to thank her family for always believing in her, and the directors and teachers who have poured into her life.

Elliot Hellwig (Mr. Snoring Man/Ezekiel Elliott)
Elliot is performing in his 4th show with Poiema, being a part of their most recent shows - It’s a Wonderful Life (Mr. Martini), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (PigPen), and most recently Newsies (Bunsen, Newsie, Bill).

Elena Hibbs (Mrs. Snoring Man/Ensemble)
Elena is very excited to return to the Poiema stage in her second production! She played the roles of “Nun” and “Newsie” in Poiema’s production of Newsies this past summer! Elena is currently a senior at Meredith College and will be graduating soon with a degree in religious studies. She would like to thank the Lord and all of her family for supporting her!

Parker Hicks (Mike Nolte/Ensemble)
Parker is thrilled to be in his second show with Poiema in White Christmas! He is honored to take on the role of “Mike Nulty”. Parker has previously performed as “Crutchie” in Newsies, “Jack” in Into the Woods, “Smee” in Peter Pan Jr., “Watson” in Young Sherlock, and “the French Prince” in Game of Tiaras. He’s grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a talented cast and crew again, and he would like to thank his family, friends, and directors for their support and encouragement.

Crystal Irvin (Dance Captain/Ensemble)
Crystal is thrilled to return to the Poiema stage. Shows include The Wizard of Oz (Glinda, the good witch), Cinderella (Fairy Godmother), The Music Man (Ensemble). She has been a company dancer with Xclaim! 2011-2013, the ICEJ's Feast of Tabernacle International Dance Company 2009, Nativity! Birth of a King (off Broadway) 2018 - 2019 and many other dance productions. Crystal has also directed and choreographed and holds a BFA from The Ohio State University in Dance and Choreography. Crystal is incredibly thankful to her parents and sister for their support that allowed her to pursue her dreams of performing.

Jason Kirkman (Ed Sullivan Announcer/Jimmy/Ensemble)
Jason is making his Poiema Arts debut and is honored to step onto the stage and share stories that lift, challenge, and inspire. He loves pineapple, mysteries, and tacos - not necessarily in that order. Offstage, he oversees safety and innovation at Chick-fil-A, where he’s passionate about developing leaders and helping people grow into who God created them to be. As the founder of Actyv Leadership Dynamics, a leadership development venture centered on positive forward movement, he believes that growth and grace work hand in hand. He loves seeing people discover confidence, purpose, and joy in what they do, whether it’s behind a counter or under the lights. Whether he’s refining systems or rehearsing scenes, Jason believes leadership—and theatre—both come down to serving people well. (And yes, it’s still his pleasure.) Foremost, thanks go to his Savior, Jesus! Also thank you to his family and friends for supporting him as he explores his potential!
